FALKONNECT enables the simultaneous management, selection and sharing of different video signals from a wide range of medical imaging devices, such as cameras, X-ray equipment, ultrasound, microscopes, surgical navigators, etc., and their distribution to multiple medical displays or online streaming platforms.
FALKONNECT is a multi-channel, multi-window video processor that enables simple yet advanced management of video signals from medical imaging devices and their distribution to medical displays or online streaming platforms. With FALKONNECT, clinicians have the flexibility to easily switch between incoming medical imaging devices and select the desired signal to be sent to the display (up to four simultaneously), without having to continuously connect or disconnect cables.
Furthermore, with the Multi-view function, up to two video windows can be displayed simultaneously on the same screen, either in Picture in Picture or Side By Side mode.
By directly connecting FALKONNECT to a Windows PC, thanks to the supplied software, it is possible to take photos, record videos, perform remote medical teleconferencing and conduct educational activities with a large number of participants, up to 1000.
With FALKONNECT, Tecnomed Italia has also thought about the management of multiple source of visual information. It is well-known that the use of monitors positioned far from or too close to the operator during procedures can be a hindrance and also lower the hygiene of the intervention site. Additionally, continual head movements between the field of work and a PC monitor can make coordination difficult for the operator between the multiple sources of visual information. The use of a FALKO system interfaced with the FALKONNECT multimedia station allows you to always have everything under complete control, simply by raising your eyes.
FALKONNECT is especially useful for resolving posture discomfort and eye pain that dentists often experience during surgical procedures. Interfaced with a FALKO head-mounted display and microscope, this product helps eliminate postural problems. And not only! This technology eliminates indirect vision and prevents the eye from continuously having to adapt to changes in microscope or environmental lighting, allow the dental practitioner to work on an upper arch or palate without having to assume an awkward position.
